Ray Brotherton studied Fine Art at Salisbury College after a long (very long) career in the Army, followed by a disillusioned spell working as a civvy. His art is largely
inspired by music, predominantly early jazz, but he also enjoys working with pastel in his quieter, reflective moments.
When not creating vivid
works of art he plays the cornet in a local band and builds web sites for RMB Active Design .
Ray is a member of the "Six Artists" & "Sarum Artists" art groups
