Ray Brotherton studied Fine Art at Salisbury College after a long (very long) career in the Army, followed by a disillusioned spell working as a civvy. His art is largely inspired by music, predominantly early jazz. When not creating vivid works of art he plays the cornet in a local band and builds web sites for RMB Active Design .
Ray is a member of the "Six Artists" & "Sarum Artists" art groups
